The Kottonmouth Kings jump back into the rap-rock fray with Hidden Stash, Vol. 2, a loud album that shows a fairly different sound than what they tried on their debut. Songs like "Killa Kali" are simplistic, angry tunes that take the same attitude and delivery as Eminem, an obvious influence judging by the production and style.5/

Where 's High Society covered their love for the weed from every angle, Hidden Stash, Vol. 2 gives us a Kings eager to self-mythologize their staying power and roots ("Welcome to the Suburbs" attempts a "Straight Outta Compton" for Orange County) while acknowledging a lack of new things to say about pot/5(24).

Oct 09,  · HS2-Kream of the Krop is still over 60 minutes long. They have Dog Boy back for 2 tracks, the Humble Gods for 2 tracks and The JUDGE on "Killa Kali"-in my opinion, the best song on the album. No big rappers like ICP or Sen Dog on this one, but the Krew is better than ever. On track 10, D-Loc gets on the sensitive side, a damn good song/5(24).
