    It's it's, a ballroom blitz! This song was crazy when it first came out in the very early seventies. The Beatles were hot. But this song was (dare I say) one of the first hard rock songs ever! I was very young. And I had this on a little 45 record and I bet I played it a thousand times!/5(88).

    Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman´s inspiration: In the case of "Ballroom Blitz" for "The Sweet" they used Bobby Comstock´s "Let´s Stomp", composed by Goldstein, Feldman, Gottehrer [who later produced The McCoys]. Released in as Single Lawn Records L A pinch of "Memphis, Tennessee" by Chuck Berry is also included.
